Circus Traber Summer Camp 2027
Clear the ring for an unforgettable summer!
Summer is circus time! In 2027, the Circus Traber Summer Camp will once again open its ring and invite children to dive into the fascinating world of the circus. Our summer camps will take place during the Easter, summer, and fall breaks in 2027.
At the summer camp, children can become little circus performers themselves. Together, they’ll experiment, practice, laugh, and discover new things. The focus isn’t just on the various circus arts, but above all on fun, camaraderie, and unforgettable summer experiences.
Under professional and caring guidance, children get to know what daily life at the circus is like, discover their own talents, and rise to new challenges. Whether they already have circus experience or are getting their first taste of the big top—every child is warmly welcome here!

Every day, there is a group lunch for all the young performers, which is tailored to children’s needs. We do not serve pork and offer vegetarian meals on half of the days.
The children also receive a small afternoon snack.
However, we cannot accommodate all preferences and special dietary needs; the meal plan is available at the circus grounds and on our website, so you can provide your child with an alternative meal if necessary.
Throughout the entire project, the children are provided with plenty of drinking water.
On the first day, the children explore the circus tent and grounds so they can familiarize themselves with all the important details and rules, get to know the instructors, and start making friends with one another. Later, the children can freely choose from about 8 groups in which they’d like to rehearse a performance. These include, for example, floor acrobatics, clowning, balancing acts and fakirs, juggling, vaulting, trapeze, and much more.
There is no guarantee of a spot in a specific group. Within these groups, the children will be supervised throughout the week. However, to ensure that the program isn’t just about “work,” the children are also regularly offered various opportunities for play and activities. For example, the Circus Traber team always offers an exciting program during the lunch break, and there are also a variety of dance and movement activities in the big top.
Over the course of a week, under the guidance of artists from the Traber family, the children rehearse a circus act that is presented to the audience as part of a gala performance.
The children are supervised for five days (Mon–Fri). The gala takes place immediately after the training session and lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Check-in begins at 9:50 a.m. each day.
We offer early morning care specifically for children of working parents. This begins at 8:00 a.m.
There are plenty of early morning care spots available.
In addition to the great fun and joy…
…of standing in the center of the big tent, the project helps children build their self-esteem. Furthermore, by working together, the children develop their social skills. By giving children opportunities to participate, the project fosters the development of tolerance, fairness, and solidarity.
The desired learning outcome—gaining social competence—is achieved through group situations in which the children are actively involved and can experience and practice social behavior as they interact with the group.
